In addition to rats, our breeding racks are commonly used for gerbils, mice, hedgehogs, quail and guinea pigs. We have larger racks designed for breeding mice.

We offer two types of rat breeding racks: racks called "Maturnity Racks" and your standard "Rat Breeding Racks" Each has its advantages. We will walk through the

features and uses of both, and consider why you might want to choose one or the other.

Maturity Racks hold double the amount of slots in the same area. Each slot holds 2 15qt tubs. These are designed for pregnant females to nurse and raise there off-spring without

the stress of males, and other inhabitants. Greatly reducing cannibalism and rate of death.

Breeder Racks hold 1 tub per slot. Each slot is intended to house either a 2:1 ratio or 3:1 ratio (3 females to 1 male). These are intended to maximize production of your off-spring production.
